Dr. Dayna Kim is a highly trained podiatrist at Hayward Foot & Ankle Center. She was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA, where she graduated as valedictorian of her high school. She then went on to complete a double major in Chemistry and Biology at Westmont College with the highest honors. She completed her medical degree in podiatric medicine at Western University of Health Sciences with top honors as well.
She then moved to the Bay Area, where she completed her three-year foot and ankle surgical residency at Kaiser Permanente South Bay Consortium. During her time in residency, she successfully performed nearly 700 surgeries (in forefoot, rearfoot, and ankle) and spent extensive time treating patients both in the outpatient and inpatient setting. Her training is extremely well-rounded, consisting of complex rearfoot and ankle surgery, forefoot surgery, trauma, wound care, infection, limb salvage, sports injury, bunion deformity, and flatfeet. Dr. Kim is dedicated to treat her patients with their best interest in mind, and she strives to use her comprehensive training to provide the most successful outcomes.
In her free time, Dr. Kim loves spending time with her daughter and husband, boating, skiing, and traveling to explore new places and cultures.
